In the clip Impressionable Encounters we see an abstracted, walking human figure, made of thin aluminium sections painted pink. The person’s structure changes constantly: just like our own human bodies, he experiences changing processes all the time.
Humans are formed by what we go through: encounters, experiences, traumas, smells…, just like the figure in the clip. We see abstracted shapes ‘meet’ this person, and how they influence him. They attach themselves to him and create changes. Then they release him, and the person walks on.
