The snake of Laocoon No.1

Duration: 2’05”

Laocoön and his sons, one of the most famous sculptures in antique Greek history, are strangled by two giant snakes.

Looking for form change with the help of pneumatic techniques, the snakes turned out to be a nice and useful item. In this 3D animation the marble snake is replaced by a rubber, inflatable specimen. In this way the form obviously changes, but at the same time the impression of suffocation is much stronger.
