In art a ‘series’ is usually characterized by a shared method or style, either of which then somehow links the works together . In ‘Painting in Different Series’ the artist’s approach is exactly the opposite: he wants to manage each work individually and stress the differences between them. The purpose is a faster, more conscious and direct dealing with the concept ‘change’. ‘Painting in difference’ is a continuous search for variations on the previous work of art.
