Remaining Ink Tissues

In the series ‘Concept Drawings Transformation’ the artist mainly uses coloured ink and (colour) pencils for his drawings. The residues of the ink pen are used up or wiped off on a small cotton canvas. As soon as the artist thinks the canvas is full enough, he rolls it up, makes a little ball of it and ties it up with rope. He then sprays the ball with fluorescent orange paint. After drying the little ball is opened up again and stretched on a frame.
